We got a new pet. Our beloved frog Mordekai, which we had had for 5 years, died about a year ago and we were finally ready to get something again. Aaron tried to talk me into getting a snake or perhaps a lizard, but I just cannot be nervous in my own house that I may someday come home to find the cage empty and the little creepy thing missing. So, we got this cute little guy. They are quiet, clean and don't get out.
