So as some of you know, my sister Michelle and her husband Travis have been trying to adopt a baby for a while. They got a call on Monday that there was a baby girl born and that they needed to be in Chicago asap. They were able to take her home on Wednesday, and it was official today. This has been such a long time coming and as you can tell from the pictures, they are so happy to finally have a child of their own. We are so happy for them and cannot wait to meet Leah.

Congratulations to your sister and brother-in-law! Adoption is such a difficult and amazing journey. My sister just adopted a beautiful baby girl in February and it was amazing to see the Lord's hand every step of the way. I get tears in my eyes just reading about this.
